Marion County Florida dedicates a new People's Courthouse. There
is a struggle to retake the control of government at many levels in America.
Senator Fasano is working to bring a focus on the First District Court of Appeals in Tallahassee.
Judges there have set themselves up for public criticism by their move into the world of opulent design.
According to legislators attempting to block the Taj Mahal courthouse move in, the judiciary has gained a level of
control that the public can't address.
It is difficult to know what is gong on because the Judiciary can control
information and access with security measures that preclude ordinary common sense to prevail.
Marion County voters
used their scarce financial reserves to build the courthouse for cash, after Judge Musleh lobbied the Marion County Commission.
The need for balance has never been
greater, between the high calling of a judge trusted by the people, and a judiciary of men and women who claim the high ground
above society as a personal entitlement.
Judges are out of reach for the public, when they over step the bounds. Perhaps a more frequent use of the Judicial
Review Committee would help rebuild the trust the public has in the Judiciary. For a start, an open door polity to help
keep the "train on the racks" when a judge over steps their bounds outside the courtroom, would help. We the
people should never have to fear our government.
Hopefully, Senator Fasano's efforts at rebuilding trust in government, will help in courthouses all across Florida.
